Restore my Pro purchase
Open SubTrack → Settings → Restore Purchases (bottom of the Pro card / paywall). Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Start or cancel the free trial / subscription
All billing is handled by Apple. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SubTrack. The 7-day free trial starts automatically with a new yearly subscription and can be cancelled before it ends.
The widget shows no data
In SubTrack → Settings, enable Share data with widget, then remove and re-add the home-screen widget.
Reminders are not arriving
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → SubTrack (allow notifications), and confirm Notifications is enabled inside the app Settings, plus a reminder delay (1/3/7/14 days) on each subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays on your device, in a private database only your apps can read. There is no account, no server and no tracking — we never see, collect or sell any of it.
What does Pro unlock?
Pro removes all ads (banner and in-feed native ads), removes the 3-subscription limit, and unlocks Advanced Insights, Graveyard, Receipt Scanner, the home screen widget, the Annual Report PDF and unlimited CSV export & import. Every future feature is included too.
How do reminders work?
Each subscription can notify you 1, 3, 7 or 14 days before it renews. Enable Notifications in Settings, then pick a reminder delay when adding or editing a subscription.
How do I import my subscriptions?
From the home card, open Get started and choose Import CSV file. The file needs columns like Name, Amount, Currency, Cycle and Category — our own CSV export works too.
How does Advanced Insights work?
Tap the gold pie button on Home. You get a full-screen analytics view: monthly spending trends, category breakdowns, per-subscription costs, most expensive services, yearly projections and more. Free users can preview it — Pro unlocks it fully.
What is the Graveyard?
The Graveyard is where cancelled or paused subscriptions go. It keeps their history and shows the total money you have saved by cancelling — open it from the Home card.
Where do ads appear?
Free accounts see one small banner above the tab bar and occasional native ads inside your subscription lists — never popups that block you. Pro removes all of them permanently.
How do I cancel a real subscription?
SubTrack only tracks your subscriptions — it cannot cancel them for you. App Store subscriptions are managed under Settings → your name → Subscriptions; everything else is cancelled with the service provider.
Can I lock the app with Face ID?
Yes. Open Settings and enable Lock with Face ID (or Touch ID on supported devices). Your data stays unreadable without a successful unlock.
How does the home screen widget work?
The widget shows your monthly total, yearly total and active subscription count. Make sure Share data with widget is enabled in Settings so the app can refresh it.
How do I export my data?
Settings → Data → Export CSV (Pro) creates a spreadsheet with all your subscriptions that you can open in Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets.
