Rate My Avatar AI ("the App") is an iOS application that uses artificial intelligence to rate and analyze avatar screenshots. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

2 Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide the App's features:
Images Avatar Screenshots
When you upload or capture an avatar screenshot for analysis, the image is sent to our AI service for processing. Images are used solely for generating your rating and are not stored on our servers after processing is complete.
Local Data On-Device Storage
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Rating history and scores
- XP balance and game progress
- Daily login status
- Favorite outfits
- Purchase status (Remove Ads, XP packs)
- App preferences and settings
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any external server.
3 OpenAI API Usage
The App uses the OpenAI API (GPT-4o Vision) to analyze avatar screenshots and generate ratings. When you submit an avatar for analysis:
- Your image is sent securely to OpenAI's servers via HTTPS.
- OpenAI processes the image and returns a text-based analysis.
- The image is processed in accordance with OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- We do not store your images on any server. They are transmitted in memory only during the analysis request.
4 Google AdMob
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob to users who have not purchased the "Remove Ads" option. AdMob may collect the following:
- Device identifiers (IDFA, with your consent via App Tracking Transparency)
- IP address (for general location-based ad targeting)
- Device information (model, OS version)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Ad types used: banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded video ads, and native ads.

5 App Tracking Transparency
On iOS 14.5 and later, the App requests your permission before tracking your activity across other apps and websites. You can choose to allow or deny tracking. If you deny tracking, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
You can change your tracking preference at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
6 In-App Purchases
The App offers in-app purchases through Apple's App Store:
- Remove Ads — A one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes banner, interstitial, and native ads.
- XP Packs (500 XP, 1000 XP) — Consumable purchases of in-app currency.
All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Purchase verification is handled through Apple's StoreKit 2 framework on your device.
7 Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us at the email below so we can take appropriate action.
8 Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with:
- OpenAI — Avatar images for AI analysis (processed, not stored).
- Google AdMob — Device/ad data for serving advertisements (if tracking is allowed).
- Apple — Purchase transactions via the App Store.
9 Data Retention
All user data (rating history, XP balance, preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults. We do not maintain any cloud database or user accounts. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.
10 Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Opt out of personalized advertising.
- Withdraw consent for data processing.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise these rights by deleting the App or adjusting your device privacy settings.
11 Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all API communications. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
